Sorry if I’m late to the thread. There is a solution for this and it works for me every time.

The sound bar needs to be electrically discharged after a sudden power surge or interruption. Just like some computer towers/cases. Do the following:

  1. Unplug all cables from the sound bar. This includes all three: the power cable, USB-C and sub-woofer.
  2. In the sound bar, press the power button quickly and repeatedly many times for 20-30 seconds. Don’t stop pressing the power button very quickly and repeatedly, and do it for at least 20-30 seconds.
  3. Reconnect only the power cable. Press the power button in the sound bar. The sound bar will in PC mode (green source button).
  4. Press the source button. If it switches to BLUE (bluetooth), then the issue is resolved. Connect the USB-C and sub-woofer cables and use the sound bar normally.
  5. If the source button does not change to blue, the issue is not yet resolved. Disconnect the power cable and repeatedly press the power button many times for 20-30 seconds again.

This has been tried and tested and it always works. I hope it helps someone.

I tried, when i turned it on it come green, then can change to blue but no sound if connect bluetooth or if i try return to green it stuck at bluetooth mode still, may you have something suggest ?

Ive had the same situation … brand new out of the box wouldnt connect to PC. It connected to my phone via BT but when i played something it had no sound. Red light on BT when switchin sources. Disconnected everything , hard reset and so on.

what ive seen is that if you have the PC turned on and connect the soundbar / turn on it wouldnt be detected.

power off PC / power off soundbar / power on soundbar / power on PC - all works ok - just follow exactly this steps

the previous 5 times this happened at least one random method of any mentioned worked.

Now I have the issue again and absolutely nothing works at all. Money absolutely wasted.

And the most unfathomable thing for me is that not once did Razer themselves jump into the conversation to provide information about this issue, when so so many posts exist about it, so many people complaining. This tells me enough about the integrity of the company.

For people still struggling with this issue. I tried many “solutions” but none worked up untill i found this post.

This finally offered the solution and solved the issue!

Thanks alot!

Amazing - thank you - this fixed mine… any logic behind it? Is that a factory reset? How did you discover it? Razer support didn’t even tell me to do this.
Razer PC Speakers seem to have issues. I owned Razer Nommo Pro Chroma THX for 3 months and they died on me, so I got this sound bar and that lasted 2 months before this issue…

Thank you again.

Happened to me as well when I switched my default output from leviathan to my barracuda headset on my PC. Fixed mine by following the hard reset instructions below, and then after I turned on the speaker, I pressed the Bluetooth button until it was visible to my devices and I connected to it to my laptop, and to my surprise the sound was back, and the source button turned from green to blue. I then connected the sub and usb (which was connected to my pc), and pressed the blue source button and like magic it was connected to my pc. Hope this works for you as well bros.

  • Press + and - volume buttons and  the power button together until it powers off to perform a hard reset.
  • Unplug all cables (Typically; Power, USB C and Subwoofer)
  • Hold the power button briefly to drain power (you may see a slight power flash in the RGB)
  • Plug only the power back in.
  • Press the Bluetooth button until it becomes visible to my other devices. In this case, I used my laptop to connect to my leviathan’s Bluetooth. After I connected, the source button turned from green to blue. Now all I had to do was to press the source button and it automatically connected back to my PC.

Hope this will work for you guys. I thought mine got bricked, and it was a heartbreaking experience. I’m sorry if it’s a bit confusing, I’m not really good in writing shit. lol

WTF Razer? Why its so hard to point this on manual? Seems like it common problem with soundbar!

Hello all,
I had the same problem with my product.
When i try to change power outlet few times inside the house with different rooms, it suddenly works.
Try to use bluetooth function first with diffrent outlets inside the house.
When there will be sound coming out of it via bluetooth, connect it to your pc and it works.
I believe the issue is power.
