Mouse worked fine yesterday. I did all the standard troubleshooting including,
uninstalled devices via device manager
uninstalled synapse, deleted files, reinstalled it
unplugged mouse/plugged back in on various usb ports
mouse works fine and is detected correctly by windows
I looked for a firmware update but don't see one for my specific mouse.
Any suggestions?

So I tested this mouse and the latest version of Synapse on my laptop, works fine...
Continued troubleshooting by
uninstalling all mice in device manager
renaming all razer driver files in c:\\windows\\system32\\drivers to have an *.old extension
uninstalled synapse again
deleted all files in c:\\programfilesx86\\razer
deleted reg keys in HKLM\\software\\razer and razerhud, same for HKCU
reinstalled synapse
tried unplugging and replugging in mouse on different usb ports
doing that process above windows detects the mouse correctly, installs the drivers, updates the device in device manager. I go into Synapse and the mouse is still not detected urgh!

Just wanted to let you all know I found a solution to the problem! I went and bought a different mouse and it works perfectly!
