Razer Mouse Dock Chroma keeps disconnecting | Razer Insider

Hello. So I have a Razer Naga Pro and a Razer Mouse Dock Chroma. While my computer was on, I would randomly get the Windows USB disconnect and reconnect noise. During this time, my mouse would not work. It didn't matter if I was touching my mouse/computer, if it was just doing nothing, or if the mouse was charging on the dock. The mouse would randomly disconnect.

I then realized the reason the mouse was disconnecting is I had the 2.4 USB dongle for the mouse installed in the dock. When I removed the dongle and placed it in another USB, the mouse no longer disconnected. However, the same Windows USB disconnect and reconnect noise would occur. I eventually realized it was the dock itself causing issues. Not always but the lights would go out.

So now I have three potential issues, either the dock is defective, the wire to the dock (which is also specific to the Razer Naga Pro to my understanding), or the USB port is defective. I highly doubt it is the USB port, but the wire or the dock? Maybe. Either way, I am reaching out to the community for what they suggest I could do. Maybe there is firmware for the dock? I couldn't find any. If the wire is defective, how do I go about getting a new one? Just seeing if anyone else came across this and what they did. I'd imagine the first thing I could do is try a new USB port and after that, if it's still happening, use my mouse in wired mode. I'm just trying to see if I can do anything on my end to fix it before I need to purchase new equipment.

Any comments or input is appreciated! Thanks.
I'd check if the wire that goes into the dock is firmly pushed. You can buy spare wire on Razer website, but I'd test it with the mouse itself if it'll work or it'll get disconnected the same as dock.

Check if the cable is firmly plugged into the mouse dock and try to reinstall its driver in the device manager. Feel free to check our self-help page for product updates and troubleshooting steps or PM me anytime should you need further assistance.
I have the same problem. Viper Ultimate + Mouse Dock Chroma.

Because I share the mouse and keyboard between two PCs, I need to connect them to a switchable USB Hub.

No matter how I plug in the Chroma Dock, it will cause all USB devices connected to the same hub to go on and off. Sometimes it works for a while, sometimes not.

Now the funny thing: It will run when connected to my work laptop (on the very same switchable USB hub).

It will also work when I use my personal PC under Linux.

It works most of the time, when I take Synapse out of Autostart. Now go figure.

I would return the mouse but I am out of the return window (bought in June)
