RAZER MOUSE DOCK NOT CHARGING COBRA PRO | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

I bought Cobra pro with the dock pro bundle. I received few days ago and found that the cobra pro isn't charging with the dock pro.

Sent the case to the Razer and received answer from Razer that Razer Mouse dock pro only can charge Basilisk v3 pro. Did anyone knew that? Or is there a way to charge the cobra pro?

If it true that Razer Mouse dock pro only can charge Basilisk v3 pro, why did they mentioned Cobra Pro is one of compatible mouse?

WTF? That’s not true what support said @Razer.Zionzedd ?

Razer Mouse Dock Pro IS compatible with Razer Cobra Pro. You just need to install Charging Puck (which is included with the dock) to your Cobra Pro.

Thats what I thought too. But Razer representative confirmed over the phone that the dock only support Basilisk. I really like the Cobra pro, yet; thinking to return and get viper again just because of this issue. Hope I can get this fixed but I just can't wait anymore. It's already been almost week since I sent the email. Yet, haven't received any resolution. Hopefully someone can help me on this...

Hi @youngdon98,

Thanks for bringing your concern to our attention. Can you PM me your case reference number so I can investigate your recent interaction? Thanks!

@FiszPL,

Thanks for looping me in.

Unfortunately the person on the phone, doesn’t have any idea about the products.

Look at Boardzy’s review - he’s using charging dock with his Cobra Pro (he’s mentioning it in 1m 42s)

Also if “it’s not compatible”, then why Razer selling it with dock & puck bundle? https://www.razer.com/hard-bundles/Cobra-Pro-Mouse-Dock-Pro/RZHB-230629-01 xD

Back to the topic, there’s some FW update for Razer Mouse Dock Pro: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6228 (dunno what is fixed, because there’s only generic “bug fixes” information, but you might try).

Also the dock is fully working and visible in Synapse? Charging puck is properly installed and locked into the mouse?

Best fix → put out the puck and put that again in. Check you have LOCKED the puck. you have to press and turn the puck. there are points on the puck and on your mouse. they have to stay to a line. it charges really if you have the puck locked.

I have the same problem, bought dock/puck and cobra pro from razer store london and informed that it is compatible and should charge.. but not yet. !!! 24 hours later, still not charging.

So slight update… i took out the puck and aligned the text inside the puck so it’s the right way up (same as the text in the puck well on the mouse itself) and it starts charging ,,, mouse should light and dim as it’s charging.. but synapse is flaky as hell since installing the charging dock…. used for years with an hold mamba hyperflux and mat… go figure… also why do you download 64 bit synapse 3 and it only runs in 32bit… sort it out @razer…
