Razer mouse dock pro not charging

i just purchased a razer mouse dock pro and the razer basilisk v3 pro 35k and the mouse dock refuses to charge it, i've done every single suggestion there is on the internet. from resetting software, to changing the usb port. and after ten minutes the mouse dock pro starts blinking orange for no reason at all. is there any other thing i could try to fix this before i return it?

Hello! 

 

Unlikely that you are as stupid as me when it comes to this. But, I got my basilisk v3 pro 35k and the mouse dock a few hours ago and was smashing my head against the wall and trying everything I found online like you before reading the razer’s mouse dock manual, “RAZER MOUSE DOCK PRO MASTER GUIDE,” and seeing that you need to  switch out the plastic (non-charging) puck that comes pre-installed in the mouse for another (specifically “charging”) puck that comes in the box for the mouse dock pro.

 

This solved the problem for me immediately, and so my problem was just from my own incomitance. If you’ve by some chance missed this like I had, then I hope you still have the box for the mouse dock pro and you should find another wireless charging puck in there and that should solve your problem.
