Hey I have the Razer Naga pro.

S/N 632127H16205941

Bought Order Date: 11/11/2022

Order #
BBY01-806700978770 Best Buy

So well past Manufacturers warranty

Been having this damned issue on and off for YEARS and now I’m fed up with it completely:

Much like a LOT of users on here I am now experiencing Phantom scrolling, and it is VERY CLEARLY a SOFTWARE BASED ISSUE! Out of nowhere, seemingly random I will automatically start scrolling down. Which then makes using my mouse IMPOSSIBLE, the ONLY thing that fixes it, is either starting or stopping Synapse. When my system launches synapse launches, then sometimes I get the scroll down issue, I stop Synapse, it stops as soon as the program is killed, sometimes less than 2 minutes later it starts doing it again I open Synapse and AS SOON as I see the Naga Pro tab load in it stops.

I have done the following:

Reinstalled windows completely

Removed the default windows mouse driver, (Same issue with or without, though I do believe installing synapse reinstalls the driver)

Reinstalled Synapse SO MANY FUCKING TIMES

TRIED IT ON ANOTHER PC

YES THIS STILL HAPPENS IN BLUETOOTH

YES THIS HAPPENS in 2.4

YES THIS HAPPENS in Wired

YES THIS HAPPENS WHEN I play through a Dock and Dongle

YES THIS HAPPENS ON ANOTHER PC FRESH WORK LAPTOP FRESH SYNSAPSE INSTALL!

Ok. Maybe the sensor is dirty, maybe it is a hardware issue, oh, but no amount of compressed air, Qtips and 99% ISO Fixes it.

I should premise this by the fact that I’ve been doing Hardware IT for over 10 damned years and there isn’t a single damned scratch on the sensor or hair laying across it, the mouse is till damn near immaculate as the day I bought it.

This issue has happened no less than THREE Times WHILE WRITING THIS message.

Solution, provide me a fix, fix your software, or I call a lawyer, because I have seen THOUSANDS of posts and YEARS of reddit and your own support forums where no fix is issued, where nothing works and support just stops responding. I paid damn near 150 USD for a product that supposed to work, I have enough contacts and petty in my heart to amass a list of people and their contact information to start a class action, this isn’t just a random occurrence, this isn’t random happenstance to just a few, there is thousands of posts documenting this issue, all unresolved and unhelpful. I will gladly document these issues and contact the nearest consumer protections lawyer. There has been enough reports over the years that you guys should know by now this is an actual issue, that needs to be fixed. Either figure it out or replace the mouse.
