Razer Nabu - Black Screen

I just bought a new 2015 Razer Nabu on Ebay, sealed in box from ntec. And the screen won't turn on.I sent in a return request and explained the issue. They told me not to return the product and issued a refund. Despite this being likely unsalvageable, I would love this thing to work still. Does anyone know any information at all that can help me? The battery does charge because the watch does still vibrate when I hold the button on it. But that's all I know. The screen is pure black, not a single pixel illuminates. (Not nabu watch - 2015 Nabu band)
