Hello, I have the Naga 2014 - (*Omitted for security reasons)(Razer NAGA Limited green edition).
I am american/brazilian and I bought it back in 2014 while I was there.. sadly, after 1 week of usage; my mouse started to restart my PC. Since there was no tech support here in Brazil and I couldnt send it back to the US for repairs because customs would take it on its way back, I was without luck. I have had it in a box along with my other faulty mouses and decided to give it another go.
I plugged it into my new PC and this time it didn't restart my PC, it just didn't turn on. I tried different USB ports until I finally got a warning message "POWER SURGE" letting me know that it needs more electricity than the USB is giving.
I have tried the mouse on my computers and that's all i got from it.
My plea is the following, what should I do to get this "brand new" mouse to work.

Hey there! Sorry to hear about your mouse concern. I understand the challenges. By the way, are you using a USB hub? Please close Razer Synapse 2.0 by right-clicking its icon in the system tray and see it helps. Also, check if the device is properly installed in the device manager under Mice and Other pointing devices, it should show the name of the product if it was installed properly.

Hey sorry for the late reply, i didn't have my hopes up on a reply but happy you guys did!
So I am not using a USB hub; I put it directly into the USB ports of my PC. I tried 6 different ports.
The mouse doesn't properly install.
The mouse either: turns off my pc, freezes my pc, flashes "power surge" after plugging it in.
I'm pretty sure its a hardware issue and since I have tried it in multiple USB ports and on multiple pc's / laptops.. I think it might be a faulty mouse.
I don't want to go to the flea market for the repair. I would prefer to go to a RAZER certified place and pay the $R200 repair (i'm guessing the price)

Sorry to hear that. I find it bizarre that the Razer Naga causes such behavior. I suggest contacting the place where you bought the mouse because that's the fastest route to getting a replacement as long as it's within the warranty coverage. Feel free to send me a PM should you have other questions or concerns.

Hello hello!
So since I live here in Brazil and I got the mouse in 2014, I didnt have any coverage to fix it under warranty..
I would have to ship to mouse to the u.s. to get it repaired, shipped back, and pray that customs wouldn't steal it..
Now, years later, I was wondering what could be done.. where would I take it and who would I pay to get it working again.

Thanks for letting me know. By the way, I've replied to your PM. Let's continue from there.
