Razer Naga Trinity Mouse Button 4 and 5 not working

I just bought this Razer Naga Trinity and tried setting up keybinds and noticed that the mouse button 4 and 5 do not work--or they do but its very random when it decides to work. I also tried to keybind it using Discord and when pressing the button it registers as mouse button 3?????? also it only registers it when I click the mouse button repeatedly, if I simply press it once it doesn't detect it at all. Tried it out again in Final Fantasy XIV Online and first 3 clicks worked, then suddenly it went back to not even recognizing the mouse clicks or lagging for like 5-10 seconds sporadically.
