Razer Naga V2 Pro Remapped Buttons Still Using Default Action

The buttons on my mouse continue to perform the default action, regardless of how I have them mapped.  I have a Razer Naga V2 Pro with the three interchangeable sideplates.  I experience this issue using all of the sideplates.

For example, if, when using the 12-button side panel, I remap the 2 button to be “Keyboard Function → Alphanumeric → A”, whenever I press the 2 button, it still enters a “2” rather than an “A”.  It doesn’t matter what I change the mappings to, the outputs for buttons 1 through 12 are always 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0, -, and =.

This issue began immediately with a fresh Windows 11 install on a new PC with the new mouse. I have reset and reinstalled all of the Razer apps, checked to ensure I have the latest versions of all Razer software, Synapse (Version: 3.8.930.92710, 20231005) specifically, as well as checked to make sure my mouse has the latest firmware (Razer Naga V2 Pro 1.1.0.0 and Razer Mouse Dock Pro 1.0.11.0), as checked in the Razer software.

I’ve run out of ideas to try.  Any thoughts?

Did you ever figure out what was going on? I’m having difficulty remapping mouse 4+5 keys.

This wont fix it for OP but for me the keys got reverted back to default 3-ish seconds after turning the mouse on. My issue was fixed by killing synapse, then the mouse reverted back to the settings i gave it  (and didn’t go back to defaults).

Did you ever solve this?

Im having the exact same problem. After a fresh installation of windows 10 aswell!

I am having the exact same problem with the razer naga v2 hyperspeed. I can map the keys save them, close the UI and the mapping sticks. However if I open the synapse UI again it resets all the button mappings to default, however in synapse it shows its mapped.

On the macro side of things, if i bind a macro to them then edit the macro the buttons reset to default thus losing the mapping to the macro (again the UI still shows its mapped correctly). To work around that I had to edit the macro then then edit the mapping to a random key then back to the macro and close synapse. It is soo convoluted.

Having the exact same issue, after setting new keybinds in synapse on my Razer Naga they do not work. However, when I close synapse any changes I made will work.

Tried many things, making a new profile, resetting profiles, deleting all the profiles, different USB port, reinstalling Synapse, restarting my computer. The only solution that works is to set everything up then make sure to never open Synapse again.

This all on a fresh install of Windows 11 which is fully up to date. Synapse version is 4.0.86.2411140357.
