Hello, i got a razor naga x at end of 2022 and i had multiple troubles with it, until it started working a few months ago, without me changing anything.

Time goes by and i got a new PC and now im having those troubles again.

synapse 3 doesnt recognize it, but synapse and those automatically installed drivers for the mouse are up to date.

i tried it back on my old pc but now its not working there neither.

its kinda frustrating. i always have to go back to my old logitech.

appreciate any help.

Hi @juergi834,

You can try the steps here for further isolation. I also received your PM and I am checking your device. Let’s just continue there so I can assist you accordingly.

If you're experiencing connection issues with your Razer Naga X gaming mouse, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

Check the USB connection: Ensure that the Razer Naga X is properly connected to your computer via the USB cable. Try using a different USB port to rule out any port-related issues. If you're using a USB hub, try connecting the mouse directly to the computer.

Restart your computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connection issues. Restart your computer and see if the Razer Naga X connects properly afterward.

Update Razer Synapse: Make sure you have the latest version of Razer Synapse installed on your computer. Razer Synapse is the software used to configure and customize Razer peripherals, including the Naga X. Visit the Razer Support website (https://www.razer.com/support) to download and install the latest version of Razer Synapse for your device.

Update device drivers: Ensure that your computer has up-to-date USB and mouse drivers. Visit the manufacturer's website (e.g., the support page of your computer's manufacturer or the Razer website) and check for driver updates for your specific operating system.

Try a different USB cable: If possible, try using a different USB cable to connect the Razer Naga X to your computer. A faulty or damaged USB cable can cause connection problems.

Test on a different computer: Connect the Razer Naga X to a different computer and see if it works properly. This will help determine if the issue is specific to your computer or the mouse itself.

Reset the mouse: Some Razer mice have a physical reset button on the underside. Use a paperclip or a small pin to press and hold the reset button for a few seconds. This can help reset the mouse and establish a new connection.

Contact Razer Support: If the above steps don't resolve the issue, reach out to Razer Support for further assistance. They can provide specific troubleshooting steps or help with a potential warranty claim if the mouse is defective.

Regards,
Peter
