Razer Nari Crackling Noise | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Last Night i got a weird crackling noise in my razer nari headset and persists if their is noise coming out. Only seems to happen in Razer Nari - Game and not chat output. Uninstalling synapse fixes the problem but re installing makes the problem come back. All my peripherals are under synapse so it kinda sucks not having it. Just tried to do a clean install of the program, got rid of all remaining files and nothing. I also tried this on another pc and even installed synapse and no problem. Any suggestions? Seems to just be affecting it on my pc.
My windows got messed up and had to just now do a clean install so that fixed the problem....
guy i got the same problem can u help me ? how u solve it precisely
Hey @CookieMasterJosh! Do you mind sending me your Synapse and MSINFO logs via PM so I can have our Devs look into this?
I recently got the same issue with Nari Ultimate as well. It's been working fine for a couple of months, until one day the cracking kicked in...

After some testing, I found out that:

- The crackling noise occurs only when Synapse 3 is installed, and the headset is in wireless USB mode.

- If Synapse is uninstalled, the problem is gone.

- If I plug in the headphone jack, the problem is gone.

- It works fine in other PC's with Synapse software.

- Changing different USB ports didn't do anything.

- Re-installing Synapse didn't do anything.

- System Restore didn't do anything.

- Audio Driver rollback didn't do anything.

- Deleting and reisntalling the Razer audio drivers (while Synapse is installed) didn't do anything.

After uninstalling Synapse, I even tried re-installing each .exe module separately, in order to isolate the one that causes the problem. Unsuprisingly, the culprit is the audio module (1548227397cC3uyXcNRazer_1306_0Setup_v3.4.0131.012312.exe). So it's definitely a software issue.

As a temporary solution, I got Synapse running and headset working (since I have a Razer keyboard and mouse too), but without any access to the audio settings and features...

Could you please let me know if there's any solution?

I hope the info above was helpful; looking forward to your reply!

Thanks for the details but can you send me a PM so I can give you a log collecter? We'd need as many as we can get to put up a proper fix.

We are already looking into this. Please send me a PM so we can try to isolate the issue as there is a good chance that the issue is on the software side of things.

In the meantime, I will be locking the thread to prevent threadjacking.
