Razer nari headphones: static noises

So I just got my Razer Nari headphones, but they have this weird static effect whenever I talk to my friends online through voice channels. This static effect will happen randomly, but I noticed that the effect will stop whenever there is music or other sounds playing in the background. It also stops when I have a youtube video playing, even without volume. This is incredibly annoying I haven't been able to fix this since I got my headphones. Does any one have any suggestions or solutions?
