Hi gang. Issues listed above... I'm really disappointed, I've had such a great experience with Razer products but this headset is giving me a ton of problems. I suspect it was crashing my entire system with WHEA fatal hardware blue screens. Once I moved the wireless transceiver to a USB port connected directly to the motherboard, the issues disappeared.
Anyway...
- As I listen to the THX Calibration, I hear literally no difference in positional audio.
- I cannot detect any change in the Bass Boost or Sound Normalization modules in Enhancement.
- Not a single slider for the EQ changes the audio in my headset.
What have I done to resolve this?
- Complete uninstall of all Razer products.
- Uninstallation of every Razer device in Device Manager. Not just a disable, an uninstall.
- Reboots between all uninstallations to ensure cache clearing, temp file status, etc.
- Installation of Razer Synapse 2.0 to no effect.
- Currently installed Razer Synapse 3.4.630.62510
I have attempted resolution steps 1-3 twice to no avail. This product is amazing but as I embark upon my roleplaying journey in GTA V, I need crystal quality sound, mic pickup... after my 1st attempt at resolution, the sound became incredibly tinny and awful. :(
Please help.
