Razer Nari microphone not working

Hi, how is it going? It's been a while since a don't have any problem with my Razer Nari but yesterday something happened and it's driving me crazy, the mic doesn't work doesn't matter what I do or try nothing works.

Yesterday I was playing on my PS4 I connected my headset with the auxiliary cable to the controller and everything was working fine. Later on I unplugged the cable and waited till my PC detected the headset but when I tried to talk I realized the mic stopped working. The audio works perfectly, but doesn't matter what I try the mic is not responding.

I tried what you suggested me to do the last time THX spatial audio wasn't working, I uninstalled absolutely everything, every driver from the control panel and using the comand regedit, synapse 3, restarted my computer, updated the headset's firmware but still not working. I checked if the mic was set as default on my PC just as the manual shows, I also even configured it from scratch in other computer but the problem is still there!

I thought maybe the mic is broken but when I used Discord on my phone and also voice notes with the headset's mic it works perfectly, this issue is just happening on PC for some reason, I tried to use it with the auxiliary cable but apparently it's not working either. I have tried everything I know to fix this and I'm starting to feel frustrated to be honest.

Please I hope you can help me with this issue I have no idea of what else to try.

This is a known issue in the latest Windows 10 update. To recover your mic function, please try the followings steps.

Launch Razer Synapse 3.

Select your Razer Nari headset within the dashboard.

Navigate to the Mic tab.

Ensure that the Ambient Noise Reduction box is checked.

Next, navigate to the “Sounds” Settings in Windows. Right click on the speaker icon in the bottom right of your task bar and click on “Sounds”.

Select the “Recording Tab” and make sure the Razer Nari is selected as your default device.

Next, click the “Properties” icon located at the bottom of the pop up.

Navigate to the “Advanced” tab.

Change the Default Format to "1channel,16bits, 44100Hz".

Click OK.
Hi G_Leland. Thank you for your response.

I have done what you told me but the mic is still not working. I made sure Ambient Noise Reduction box is checked, also my default communication device on the recording tab is the Razer Nari - Chat and Razer Nari - Game as default just as you said and as it is shown on the manual.
Also changed the default format to the channel you said but still not working. This issue appeared a bit before Windows 10 latest update.

I have no idea what is happening.

Try to reboot your system to the time when you didnt install the latest Windows updates.
Also i recommend you to check device on another PC.

Sadly I did both things already but got no solution. I thought configuring it on another PC would work but no.
