Razer Nari not charging

I recently bought a new pair of Razer Naris. Since I got them, they do not charge. When I plug them in, the light won't come on. They sometimes charge I suppose, because I can sometimes turn them on and they have a bit of battery. Also when I emailed razer support they wanted a video and like 5 different numbers for serial number product number etc etc and proof of purchase which I don't have because i ordered them from best buy and was never sent a receipt. So now i am using a pair of wireless headphones with a 3.5 cable. Might as well have just bought krakens or something

    There is a firmware update that could fix this, but I need you to PM me the serial number of your headset.

    okay so I tried a different usb cable and now it charges, but when i'm using it it is constantly connecting and disconnecting from my pc and slows down my internet connection for my PC. I can't game with it wireless.
