Razer Nari Popping/Crackling audio

I have gone through two pairs of Nari headsets, both have had the same issue. The first set, razer support told me they were "defective and to send them back to Amazon for a replacement".
The issue is they both worked fine if I don't install Synapse 3. However, I have no EQ or THX without Synapse 3 installed and they become standard stereo headphones - not exactly worth the price tag at that point.
Is there any way to fix this issue? Support hasn't exactly been helpful and I'm about fed up with razer products.

I'm having the same issue and feel exactly the same with no solution to this problem
Same here, it's definitely a software issue since without Synapse 3 it's all good
Glad to hear I'm not alone with this issue.
Going on day 4 waiting for Razer software tech to get back to me. I'll keep this updated as it progresses.
I think it has to do with the 20H2 Windows update, since I installed the update my audio gets disorted. It only happends when I enable surround in Synapse though. ( I'm using a Razer Kraken Pro)
Some Conexant and/or Synaptics drivers already have confirmed issues due to the Windows update.

I'm still currently using the previous build. 2004? 2003? I see the option to go to 20H2, but I had been reluctant in trying it. Glad I haven't yet.
I just purchased a Razer Chroma v2 Headphone stand (to replace a Corsair model), and thought that was the cause of the issue (I plug the audio adapter into the headphone stand). From what I'm seeing here this may simply be timing coincidence, unless everyone here also bought the headphone stand very recently...

I don't have the chroma stand. Wireless adapter is plugged directly into a USB 3.0 on the back of my pc. I have, however, tried different usb ports on my pc without any change.
Odd though that your audio issue would happen directly after getting a new usb device. Makes me wonder if there is a usb conflict in windows or a device conflict in synapse 3.

I do believe the headphone stand upgrade was a timing coincidence based off the other reports here. I received my headphone stand over the weekend, removed & uninstalled the drivers for the old one, added the Razer Chroma v2 stand, then proceeded to run various software updates on my system (which likely included the 20H2 release).

I did try removing the new headphone stand and plugging the Nari adapter directly into the port the stands (both the old & the new) had been connected to. The crackling still occurred, which would indicate either the stand has nothing to do with the issue, or that somehow plugging the Nari adapter into the old stand made it work better than the adapter does by itself. The latter is already unlikely, couple that with others here getting the same crackling issue (no stand involved) means the stand is extremely unlikely to be a factor.
Unfortunately, for me at least, I realized I am not running 20H2.

While I did perform system updates at the time I installed my headphone stand, I only installed what windows update directly instructed me to.

20H2 is a feature update and requires specific selection to install it, which means my issue is not tied to that update...

Does Synapse 3 and THX run on/function properly on Linux?
I just wanted to mention that I have also had this same sound on the left earpad of my Razer Nari headset. I decided to not use the Synapse program, which just makes the set a plain stereo headset. Very frustrating. Contacted the support a couple times and they could not resolve the issue. I didnt try to see if the sound is still present on Mac or Linux, since I only have windows computers at home.
Right, so I just noticed that there was an update for the Razer Synapse program, so I opened it and updated it; there was no sound, but as soon as I move the Wireless adapter, the crackling noise on the left earpad starts again. As I knew before, the software is causing the problem somehow. So I started playing with some functions to see if turning on/turning off something would have any effect (I had no hope, because I have tried this MANY times before and never worked). I guess I had never tried playing with the Chroma; when I turned off the "Brightness", the sound disappeared. So I went to the "Chroma Studio" function and started playing with the "Effects". Apparently, the Chroma function and, specifically, constant colour change is causing the noise. As soon as I chose the "Static" effect and deleted all the other effects on the "effect layer" section, the sound stopped. When I changed to something like "Breathing" or "Spectrum Cycling", the noise kind of follows the pattern of colour change (on and off for Breathing and non-stop for Spectrum Cycling). I guess that's it, folks, the Chroma is the issue and I hadn't noticed that before and, again, it's very frustrating that they haven't fixed that yet.

That's very strange indeed. I'm glad to hear you were able to sort it out. However, this didn't seem to fix my audio issues, unfortunately. Mine doesn't have any sort of consistency. It's more of a loud popping or crackling specifically when there are sharp audio changes such as bass or high trebles or when changing volume levels.
Currently on Week 3 of ongoing contact with support with no significant updates. As of right now, I'm using my Naris without Synapse installed.

Try Uninstalling Synapse 3, clearing out old registry keys, then Reinstalling Synapse 3. It worked for me.

Here is a video showing the process.
So I have been using Razer years now.

At first, I thought is was my PC back on the Razer Kraken v2's back in like 2015.
Since then I have had 4 more pairs of Razer and have returned them all because the same issues persist with distortion and crackling on top of Razor Products sounding supper muffled compared to other headsets.

TODAY as of writing this, my Logitechs G432's snapped in half almost a year of use.
I run to my local Walmart and Pick up these Razor Nari Essentials after vowing to never buy Razer.

Figured maybe by now this issue has been address and fixed on their products after spending money on them for the 5th time.

NO to my horror and dismay. I will be returning this headset and picking up a new pair of Logitechs.

I have sat for hours reading forums and watching videos on how to fix this issue.

I should not have to delete shit in my REGEDIT or systems files to get this headset to work properly or partially use software out of the box that's meant to work with this product.

Should have never broke my vow and steered clear of this company for the foreseeable future.
