Razer Nari Ultimate - Connection issues | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
I am getting consistent disconnections from my Razer Nari Ultimate, whatever I am listening to sounds distorted and I get the beeping re connection noise. I check the Razer Synapse and the icon is blurred out with a spinning wheel on it. Then once it's normal again the icon is as it should appear.

I've tried different USB ports / PCS and the issues are still the same. Not sure what I can do @ this point?
I battled this same issue for over 3 weeks since I got it (beeping, distortion, spinning wheel in synapse). No real response from Razer support on the issue (in these forums and I opened a ticket). Based on the sheer volume of posts here, reddit and other community hubs of people with the exact same issue with the Nari U with absolutely no one posting that it was solved, I finally found the solution...I'm returning it just under the Amazon 30 day return deadline and and going with the steel series arctic.

I would have asked for a replacement, but I'm tired of fighting the Synapse 3 application as well (and I believe Synapse may be the root of the issue anyway). I finally had to just stop creating custom profiles with Synapse and use the default keybindings for my Tartarus V2 because it couldn't hold a profile for more than a few hours without crashing/freezing. Unfortunately, none of the advanced features of the Nari U work without Synapse running. Good Razer products brought down by clunky software to run them.

Darn shame, because the Haptics on the Nari U were awesome when the thing worked, which was never for than 20-30 minutes straight BEEP...BEEP BEEP...BEEP...BEEP BEEP BEEP [distortion]...BEEP

At the $185 price point, the sound quality is mediocre, and without the haptics and with the technical headaches I just can't justify the hassle of messing with it anymore.

Have you tried performing a clean installation of Synapse or running the wireless calibration tool? In any case, PM me the serial number of your headset so I can help you troubleshoot.
I have also run into this problem, I purchased my Nari Ultimate's in January and -while I absolutely hated the Synapse 3 software- the headphones themselves were great. I opted to just leave out the synapse software and keep them in stereo mode, and I was completely happy with the results. Then a few weeks ago I saw the other Razer THX software was available, and I thought it might be a replacement for that Synapse garbage. After hours of searching which might be depreciative of which, to absolutely no avail, I installed the new software only to find they just applied the THX processing to the rest of my audio outputs, but not my Nari Ultimate's, I still needed Synapse 3 to do that. Where I would have to select my headphones through the Synapse THX output- then- though the regular THX app I would select the Synapse output, and finally in Windows I would need to select the THX app output. All so I could fake some more channels on my headphones??? So apparently they are "designed" to be run side by side.

Anyway - after everything was installed and set up I received a notification that an update was available for my Nari Ultimate's, to which I followed the directions to the note to install. Unfortunately it seems the update was unable to complete, as it would start, and then would be unable connect to the headset after connecting the USB dongle.

Ever since I can not listen to audio anywhere for more than 5 minutes before they start beeping. All the while it seems the beeping is encreasing, with the audio finally cuttting our and then back in only tho start beeping again.

Please help Razer, I dont want to wait for you to fix your terrible software. Just let us enjoy your BOOMING hardware.
Also getting sick of issues with my tartarus pro and nari ultimate. The nari is so random with issues and i honestly think most of it is software related coz synapse 3 STILL in beta is quite franky SH**E. Why have all your new products run on a software that keeps crashing? it constantly ends up not responding every couple of hours on my machine and so gaming competitively is a risk. I LOVE how comfy my tartarus pro is to use but now I'm second guessing my purchase choices with razer (last november i got the blade pro and that started my razer journey....). I'm now considering just getting a ducky keyboard and saving for a normal desktop machine. For the record i only started having issues with synapse when i installed the nari and the tartarus pro. I never had any issues with my naga.
