I have recently purchased a Xbox Series S and have been experiencing issues with the headset (wireless connectivity) dropping, going crackly, missing out speech and then unassigning from Xbox and reassigning 20 seconds later. I cannot seem to find any firmware update and for any I do find it asks for me to put in the wirless dongle that this headset does not have before I can go any further. The other issue is the Mic. It seems so low in volume and if you do not have the mic practically in your mouth then no one can actually hear what you are saying.
