Razer Nari Ultimate Headset becomes Avnera

My Nari Ultimate headset randomly cut off whilst gaming on Windows 10.
I thought it had run out of charge although that was not the case.

The headset now stopped connecting and so I restarted and attempted to uninstall-reinstall.

Now the dongle displays as Avnera AV6301 and the Razer Chat and Game options do not display in my sound devices. I have tried 3 different PCs.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled all Razer Synapse. No improvement.

I've installed the latest Dongle Recovery Tool and run as administrator - it showed 'No Action Required'

I've installed the latest Nari Ultimate Pairing Utility and run as administrator - it advised an update was required.
The device unplug sound would then occur and an error would display- 'Update Failed. Wireless USB transceiver firmware update failed. Would you like to retry?'.
I have retried multiple times even after restarting the PC.

Any other suggestions or fixes? I really love the headset and its Hypersense feature 😞

It looks like some different driver has installed.
Try to manually remove the device (with drivers) from device manager in Windows 10.
Also download and run this tool to remove any Razer drivers/leftovers: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj and then restart your PC.
Thanks for the suggestion!

I tried this, manually removing anything that relevant from device manager.
After then uninstaller razer, running the cleaner and restarting it insists on being set up as this incorrect item.

Check this manual: https://www.drivereasy.com/help55/manually-install-drivers-in-windows-10/ - look at the Windows says “The best drivers for your device are already installed”? section.

Click on update driver, then pick the driver manually from the list, Click on Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer and then uncheck Show compatible hardware. Then on left side you'll have vendor - select Razer, and on the right side you must choose correct driver.

Hi BlackLemur,

It's apparent that you're experiencing a hardware problem and the next step forward is to start a case for a replacement dongle request. Please PM me the serial number and share a copy of your receipt to help me kickstart a case.
