Razer Nari Ultimate keeps disconnecting while charging

The headset works fine when charged, only disconnecting if I get really far away from the receiver, but if connected (to use while charging), it keeps making the Windows plug/unplug noise for USB stuff, and eventually turns off after a few seconds. It seems to charge fine most of the time, but sometimes I leave it overnight and still runs out of battery after a few minutes. It's impossible to use while charging as it keeps turning on and off, as well as not even charging half the time, making me have to juggle with the connector until I see the red light indicate that it's actually charging. I've tried reinstalling synapse but that didn't seem to do anything, and it does the same on multiple USB ports and with different micro USB cables I've tried.
