Razer Nari Wireless THX for default device?

Hi, so i just bought the Razer Nari headset and i am new to Razer Products. I have been messing araund in Synapse and i was just wondering... in the instructions i got with my headphones it says that i need to put my "Razer Nari game" as the default device, but Synapse is prompting me to use "THX Spatial - Synapse" for the best audio experience? Now when i enabled this, my Windows 10 computer automaticly turned on " Spatial Sound (Windows Sonic for Headphones)" When i am listening to music i can hear crackling sound's from the headset at times and turning it off didn't seem to fix the problem either. This problem fixes itself when i turn THX off in Synapse for some reason... Now another thing i would like to know... when i set " THX Spatial - Synapse" as the default playback device.... do i need to turn on the " Spatial Sound" option and with it the 7.1 surround option?
