Razer Opus can't pair with either Android or IOS

Hi Guys,

I've just got my razer opus today, sadly after a long battle I've only managed to connect it to my PC.
I've got the app, it says it's connected, I can see the battery status, but It doesn't seem to have any connection.
Blue light keeps flashing which means it is waiting to be paired...
I have cleaned my phone, reinstalled the app a couple times, gave it all the permissions etc.
It also won't pair without the app, but instruction doesn't say if I need it or not, I assume I do need it to pair it.
After i connect it through the app it literally disappears from the Bluetooth devices list on my phone.
Did it on two phones already(galaxy s9+ and iphone xs), is there any issue with the app maybe?
It works fine with my PC, only mobile pairing seems to be an issue...
Does anyone else experience this?

Hi same problem here i tried S9+ and Note 10 5G. It's disappointing as they are not cheap
Solved... Just hold power button when you pairing... I did have same problem few months ago with other stuff
Can't get mine to pair, either. I go into the BT pairing mode, hear the ping, app says it connects, ping and light still going, won't stop going, BT on Android shows it listed as connected but it doesn't have a connection. No amount of restarting can help. It's just permanently stuck in limbo.

I have several BT devices connected from super cheap to super expensive and none of them have issues. Following all instructions. NADA.

Hello Just do what I did 😉 When pairing HOLD POWER BUTTON ON HEADPHONES AND EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE. If this will not help I will record video and I will post on YT. Just let me know here.
Hold until they will be paired you will hear beeping like radar...

That's going to be a no from me.

Reread my post. I get the headphones into pairing mode, I hear the ping (as I said) and they just stay there forever.

When trying to power cycle it just goes directly to pairing mode and nothing but pairing mode. Doesn't matter if I short press or long press - just goes straight to pairing mode and won't leave pairing mode even after the APP says it's connected, even after Android says it connects, the device won't leave pairing mode. Off, on, short press, long press, just goes into pairing and won't leave.

That's why I said it's permanently stuck in limbo. It won't do anything but sit in pairing mode.
Not great quality as I was in work just on break. But it's working. I hope this will help.
Thanks man! It worked for me on android, but it doesn't work for iOS... Also those headphones are unable to do games in different mode than phone call headset mode. You can do stereo but you wont be able to use your mic. So either you get bad sound and mic working, or no mic and decent sound in games. Good luck to everyone, hope razer will address those issues with connections soon. Cheers!

Hey there! Thanks for sharing your Razer Opus' pairing concern here. Have you tried clearing all Bluetooth history and pair the headset again? If it's feasible, please pair the headset to another phone and see if the issue persists. Feel free to send me a PM should you need additional assistance.

im wondering why this information is not in the user manual or something..?
