Razer Orochi won't crash your computer if you enter the wrong serial number

I just got a Razer Orochi V2 and I wanted to register it.

For whatever reason it does not recognize the serial number. I tought maybe I wrote it wrong so I scanned the bar code with the phone and copy pasted the serial nuber but still no luck.

 

How can I solve this?
