Razer phone 2 not charging via Razer Quick Charger

Bit of a bizzare one. Recently my Razer Phone 2 has stopped charging correctly but only through the Razer Quick Charger (plug that comes with the phone). I have tried different cables and all come back with the same result (as of the cable was damaged and has to be at a certain angle to charge correctly) as well as trying a friend's charger. The phone charges normally (or not rapidly) however when plugged into a standard USB-C cable and 13a-usb adapter. I experienced the same issue a year ago, however the phone also failed to connect to transfer data (usb fault). Has anyone else experienced this?

    You highly likely have a faulty port since data transfer is affected as well. I can submit a repair ticket on your behalf should you opt to send it to us to be serviced. *Thread locked to curb the conversation to PMs.
