Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I find it quite unpleasant and annoying to deal with this.

      Hello. When did the issues start? Please try to do a hard reset. Just press on the volume up and power button at the same time and hold until it reboots. Let me know how it goes. Also, can I have the build number of your phone?

      The issue has started when I first used max and min volume on the phone. Hard resetting didn't do a thing. O-MR2-RC009-RZR-181124.2009

      The crackling noise recently has become much more audible and apparent, sadly.

      I have the same problem! But now and then the sound comes again. What annoys me is that the screen has a yellow stitch ;( what does your display look like?
