Razer phone shutting off

I currently own a razer phone 1 and since day one if it got too hot it'd shut off; whatever, makes sense. Now though the battery will only reach 45 degrees C and then shut off or around that figure. Issue being with normal daily use I can't have it in the sun, put it in a case, or even slightly use it too much without having to take a 5 minute break every 10 minutes to lay it in a cool surface otherwise it immediately shuts off. Any reason why mine is heating so godamn quickly or just shuts off at way too low of a threshold?

    Hello there! Let me look into this. What specific programs/apps do you usually use? Also, how long had you had your Razer Phone? Let me know.

    As an example, last night I had my phone shut off on me after 30 minutes ish of "Need For Speed No Limits", I had it shut off 3 times on me trying to test vr videos on YouTube in the cardboard format, it would go from 33° to 44° alarming quickly and then shut off until I lowered the amount of cpu YouTube was able to use. In past times I've had pubg mobile shut it off, and just doing anything in the sun during summer I have to be very vigilant to make sure it doesn't get too hot.
