Razer Phone WIFI Drops

I am having some problems with the WIFI on the original Razer Phone. When connected to WIFI the latency is really high. It also keeps dropping and re-connecting. In some cases I have to put the phone in Airplane Mode and then turn on WIFI only in order to get it to connect to access points. I am having the same issues on a variety of different access points. I have no problem connecting to these access points from other devices. Anyone having similar problems or have any suggestions on how to resolve these connectivity issues? It has been like this since I bought the phone a couple months ago. Any suggestions are appreciated.
