razer pro wireless keyboard battery charging issues

Hi, 

 

My Razer pro wireless keyboard is having battery issues.  Battery kept draining very fast even when it's wired.  Does anyone know if this battery can be replaceable and how much it cost?

understand that your Razer Pro Type battery is draining faster than expected. If the battery is draining even while wired, it may indicate a different issue, such as a malfunction in the charging circuit or a need for a firmware update. To set your expectations, please note that Razer currently does not provide repairs for peripheral devices. Please try some workarounds to address the problem:

  1. Ensure your computer's USB power settings don't affect the charging. Go to your computer's power options and set USB ports to remain active for charging.
  2. Sometimes, the issue could be with the USB port or cable. Try using a different USB cable and port to see if the keyboard charges better.
  3. Try disconnect any unnecessary USB devices that might be drawing power from your computer and affecting the keyboard's charging.

Please observe if the troubleshooting steps resolve the issue. If the same issue persists, we will deem the device faulty. Since your device is outside the warranty period, we can no longer replace your unit. All the best!
