Razer Raptor 27 Defect?

Hey All--

I came across this reddish spot with multiple dots that looks like pixels on my screen when I boot up. It was under the black background when I noticed it. On any other background I have to concentrate to see it. It is hard to describe and it is definitely not a smudge for sure since I tried to wipe it off.. and that didn't work. Looks to be stuck pixels or something. I took pictures with night mode so you guys can see what I'm talking about.

Is this right out of the box? The only thing we can do is verify if the monitor is defective. Try clean installing GPU drivers and if possible, test using another monitor side-by-side (mirrored). You'll have to send it in for repair if not replacement if deemed as a hardware issue.

Hey there,

So I tried what you suggested and it is still happening. I don't believe this is a software issue but more so hardware issue because as you can see in the image links in my initial post shows pixels that are stuck at the color red even when the background is black. This is a stuck pixels issue on the panel itself. Now I have the monitor since last month and I didn't noticed it until a couple of days ago so it was either there since the beginning or just recently developed. I opened a case for this issue: *Removed

I wasn't implying that this is a software issue. I recommended troubleshooting the GPU because bad drivers and even faulty cables can cause similar effects. It was merely to try to isolate the issue. Once we deem the monitor defective, then there's nothing else to do but RMA. Do send me the case number via PM.
