Razer Raptor 27 not connecting to Synapse 3

My Raptor 27 won't connect to Synapse no matter what I do. It's receiving signal through displayport, and I have it connected to a USB port using a USB-A to USB-C adapter, and the USB ports on the monitor now work, but the monitor still won't show up in Synapse. I even re-installed Synapse and made sure it was the right version, to no avail. I made sure it was Synapse 3, and that it had Chroma installed, and Synapse is picking up my MSI Dragon Center RGB, so is there something that I'm doing wrong?
