Razer Ripsaw HD - "gaming monitor doesn't capture more than 60Hz"

Hi everyone, i started this topic because i thought that some people might have problems with Razer Ripsaw HD and after having help for a long time and then finding out from the support i can't do anything about this issue i thought i will do it myself and figure it out by watching tutorials about how others changed 60Hz to 144Hz on their gaming monitor but they were using different capture cards so i was a little concerned, but i ordered a DP to DP cable anyway. So here is a little tutorial from me and because i have a NVIDIA graphics card this tutorial is made more for the NVIDIA users.

• First of all you will need the capture card connected properly to the streaming pc and gaming pc.
• Secondly you will need a DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable.
• Thirdly disconnect the HDMI cable from the graphics card
• Then connect DP to DP cable to the gaming monitor and to the graphics card and after that the monitor should go black and then turn back on with a DP title in the middle of the screen.
• Then right click on desktop and open up "NVIDIA Control Panel"
• After you do that go to "Set up multiple displays" and there you should have 2 monitors, Ripsaw HD and the name of your actual monitor, if not then i don't know what's wrong.
• But if it does show you theses 2 monitors, then just scroll down and you should see "Display Configuration" and there will be squares with numbers inside them. What you have to do here is to right click on the square that has the number of your actual monitor and then click on "clone with" and choose Ripsaw HD number.
• Then both of them should combine into one, to make sure that everything is working fine just go to "Change resolution" and click on your monitor and check if you can change the Hz to the one you want to use, if it lets you change then everything is working perfectly.

That's all you need to do to play on 144Hz or whatever Hz monitor you have and stream in 60fps, I think this helps you guys out and if not then i'm sorry but that's what i did and it worked for me and i just wanted to share it with people that has the same problem.
