Razer Ripsaw HD issues.

I recently received my razer ripsaw hd that I had bought off of amazon new and opened it up. I looked through the setup and soon had it connected to my Nintendo Switch. I connected all the cords up and thought I was ready to go. However, when I opened up streamlabs obs and after I got the source setup, nothing would show up. Just a blank black screen. I've searched up all the fixes you can imagine for this but no luck. My computer has a gtx 1070, and an i5-7500. I have tried starting SLOBS as admin, resetting my device, reinstalling razer synaps, and ive tried on OBS studio, and that didn't work. I have no idea why it isn't working and some help soon would be much appreciated.

Anyone know anything? I tried a few more fixes yesterday after posting this and still nothing. I'm starting to debate if I should return it and get a different capture card.

Might be your Motherboards USB hub. I had an issue where mine wouldn't capture sound. As it turned out my MB has a notoriously wonky USB hub that doesn't play well with capture cards. fixed it with a PCIe USB extender.

@OrdoVaelin My USB connections have been having some small issues, ill try it. Do you recommend a specific USB extender?

Not in particular, all I did was go to Newegg and sort the choices by "most reviews" then just picked one with enough good reviews and a decent price. Think I got a Roswell for 20 USD

hey @OrdoVaelin just bought a usb extender and installed it into my computer. Im still having the same issue. Just one question, before you got this did you still get the No Signal screen or was it just black. Nothing shows up at all for me so just curious.

I didn't have any video issues with mine. Mine was that SLOBS wouldn't receive the sound from the Ripsaw(which was fixed via the USB extender). I figured that if my issue was fixed that way, perhaps bad USB hubs/ports could cause the problems you're experiencing. By chance, is the ripsaw sending sound to SLOBS or can you hear anything when you plug an AUX cord directly into it?

@OrdoVaelin Its not issues with audio that im having, I am unable to get any video output on SLOBS with mine, I don't even get the no signal sign. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

It's all good, my thought was that if SLOBS isn't recieving audio, or if the Ripsaw isn't getting audio at all, then it might be a bad cable or bad capture card

I'm having audio issue where it is like static or popping with the ripsaw HD.
