I am working on setting up streaming PC connected between my game consoles and my TV. I have a razer ripsaw that is a little over a year old that I am using to facilitate this setup. However, when I set everything up, there is no audio being picked up by the capture card or the hdmi pass through. In other words, I have no audio coming through my TV and no audio being captured by my streaming PC.
I have tried two different consoles, two different HDMI cables (both of which I tested individually), and restarting and plugging in everything repeatedly. I made sure all the sound settings were turned up in the Synapse program and also tried listening for audio through the 3.5mm jack and there is nothing there either.
Is it possible that the audio in my ripsaw just doesn't work anymore? I'm at a loss.
EDIT - I wanted to call out that the audio on my ripsaw definitely used to work when I first got it, so it is not a defective unit and it has not been damaged in any way. It just sat idle for a while not being used until now.
