I can hear the noise when it is plugged in it was also working fine yesterday.

Have you tried connecting the device to another USB port or computer? Please run your computer's Windows update and the Intel Driver and Support Assistant. Check if it offers the latest hardware driver updates. Please request a warranty claim if the device is within its warranty period.
