Razer Seiren V2 X, Razer Synapse, serial numbeis - Issues

Hello, Just like 

I have recently (yesterday - 23.02.2025) purchased a Razer Seiren V2 X and the PC does recognize the microphone, and it is working, but it’s not recognized by Razer Synapse, I attempted any troubleshooting tutorial I could find but I didn’t get anywhere, still.
I have also tried the updater, but I get stuck at “connect the device to the PC” as it doesn’t recognize it being connected.
After coming over the other post, I tried it myself and the S/N doesn’t work either. - help

Just for the record - I’m still having problems with it.
When attempting to register the Microphone, inserting the S/N causes a small loading in the product number section and nothing happens, it even deletes the product number in case i write anything. 

The error that I get if I write the data from either the product or the box:
Unrecognized Serial Number

Please double-check similar characters such as:

"I" and "1"

"O" and "0"

Try clean Synapse reinstall:

  1. Uninstall Synapse
  2. Download & run this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj to remove any razer drivers/leftovers
  3. Then restart your PC
  4. After reboot install Synapse again (as administrator).

Also which Synapse version do you use? You might try Synapse 4 if you havent tried it yet: https://www.razer.com/synapse-4

I’ve done all of the above and the result is the same.
I was using Synapse 3, followed your steps installed synapse 4 after the restart and it automatically recognized all my Razer devices … except for the Microphone.
I’ve tried to uninstall it from device manager and restart again, but still nothing.
Same with different USB.

The removal tool was nice tho :D

Still encountering the issue, I even created a ticket, but still no reply anywhere.
Also does anyone know how to remove the blackshark tag which I added by mistake when creating the thread/question?

Hello,
Just wanted to update that the issue is still ongoing.
I didn’t attempt any special fixes, I am just waiting for any kind of support.
I also have Case #: 250407-001657 and Case #: 250303-000964 on the same topic and nothing.

If there is anyone that can at least point me in a way to contact them….

For the record the S/N and Product Number from the device are the same as the one on the BOX and I’ve tried every combination of I/1 and O/0 even though it is nearly impossible to get them wrong with the way they are printed on the box.


Have this problem too. I am just waiting for any kind of support.

~3 months update - STILL not resolved.
Still didn’t hear back from my tickets. 

I’ve read a lot of people being afraid that the mic is fake. 
I tend to believe it’s not, but I am not 100% sure. 

The same serial number is enscribed on both the mic and the packaging, the packaging looks very similar to other razer products I have and I haven’t seen any negative comment on the retailer’s page.
In device manager it’s seen with it’s product name: Razer Seiren V2 X same as my keyboard, mouse and headset.
