Razer Seiren V3 Chroma RGB not responding when Chroma Apps are enabled
Hi everyone,
I recently got a Razer Seiren V3 Chroma, and I’m having an issue with the RGB lighting.
When I first plugged the microphone in, everything worked normally. The boot-up RGB animation appeared, and the lighting worked as expected.
However, I noticed that when Chroma Apps are enabled, the microphone’s RGB lighting does not react to games or other applications. For example, I’ve tried using it with games and Wallpaper Engine, but the microphone does not respond to the Chroma effects at all.
What’s strange is that when I turn Chroma Apps OFF, the RGB works perfectly fine. I can use the lighting normally, including the static green effect, and everything responds as expected.
So basically:
- Chroma Apps ON: The microphone does not react to games, Wallpaper Engine, or other Chroma-enabled applications.
- Chroma Apps OFF: RGB lighting works perfectly normally.
- The microphone itself works fine for audio; the problem appears to be specifically with the Chroma/RGB integration.
- The issue was present from the beginning, even though the initial boot-up RGB worked normally.
Has anyone else experienced this with the Razer Seiren V3 Chroma?
If anyone knows a fix or has any troubleshooting steps I could try, I’d really appreciate the help. I’d also appreciate it if someone from Razer support could take a look and let me know what might be causing this.
