I bought a razer seiren mini v3 a while back, and have not used it much, but recently I have had a few friends that have wanted to game together. My friends have been complaining that they can barely hear me, and the only way I can get a consistent sound out of the mic is to practically be eating the thing and even then you would think that would lead to an awful noise, which it doesnt. This is not limited to just discord either, it happens in obs studio, sound recorder and some in game voice chats as well. Now, I havent come here without doing some research and trying out other solutions, so here is a list of things I have tried:
Both windows and Razer synapse are set to maximum, and the windows sound test in settings shows as 3-7% volume at maximum.
I have tried installing and reinstalling the razer synapse software.
I have tried using different USB ports, both 2.0 and 3.0.
This problem is not limited to my pc either, I have tested it on a couple other laptops as well and get the same results.
None of these things seem to do anything, so I though I would post here as one last hurrah before checking if my warranty is still valid to request a refund, if it even has a warranty (it should be, I only bought it earlier this year).
