Razer Stealth 2020 Bios 1.03 DO NOT UPDATE!!!

The BIOS updater has been around for a few weeks now, but I have yet to hear anything similar to the problem you're experiencing. There's not much that I can do if our Systems Team already escalated the issue. That said, I will appreciate it if you can send me your ticket number so I can look into this myself.

Hey Caziel! Thanks for responding! *Case details removed from public view. Razer was supposed to reach out to me yesterday with Tier 2 tech but I never received a response. I am on the east coast so I will contact a little later today. Hoping I can just rollback the bios Edit: UPDATE: I was able to get the CPU to go past 1.4 base by disabling Speed Stepping in the BIOS however it will not go below 2.8ghz now. Somehow there appears to be a conflict between these two values in the bios that are not allowing them to both be enabled and work correctly. I am also getting sporadic cpu utilization from system when I have SS disabled in the bios. Still nothing back from Razer I contacted them today and they said that support was still looking into this. Figured I would update with information that I have discovered.

There is currently no way to rollback BIOS updates. Only our Repair Centers have that ability as of this time. I'm sure there is something wrong with the values, or maybe the C-states aren't being applied properly. P.S. Please send me the case number via PM. I've removed it from public view for security purposes.

Still waiting on a response for some resolution. Is there really no way of rolling back a BIOS update? You guys just have AFUWINx64 and FWUpdlcl64 rolled into a batch file pointed by your updater tool. You should just be able to point any .bin to it and it will flash it, no? Customer support on chat has mirrored your statement about rolling back but I would think that those tools would just flash whatever you tell them to unless there are some checks for step versions? I have asked support to give a timeline on when they would expect a resolution to this and so far they just keep telling me to wait for an email. Can you shed any light on this Caziel? Edit: Final Update - I exchanged the laptop this afternoon. Thanks again for looking into this Caziel sorry I couldn't wait for a resolution. Your guys can take a look at it when it arrives via RMA.
