Hi, i’ve been trying to get support for this issue for a long time and i did recieve a response finally, but it didn’t actually address my problem.  Instead of Renewing the ticket, i decided to try elsewhere.    I own this stream controller, the original one with more controls that was like a loupedeck live.

I don’t know if this problem affects anything other than my device.   The razer synapse plugin for this thing stopped working when i updated to synapse 4, so meaning that it’s unable to communicate with anything of my razer products.   it works as intended with everything else that i use with it, but no synapse functionality at all.   i don’t have any way of testing the other razer plugins, but i would just assume they haven’t been maintained either.

This has been an issue for so long.   reverting back to a previous version of synapse seems to be intentionally prevented, which i consider to be pretty shady development tactics.  i wonder idly what would motivate razer to bully their customers into updating software that still isn’t working properly after how many years of development?  even punishing them by rendering their expensive computer peripherals inoperable?  seems like that should be illegal, but i guess i probably agreed to it in the TOA.

i never disliked the synapse software before this.  i remember when they started making you login.   everyone was mad.   many have never used razer again, swearing them off for that tiny sin meanwhile they’re logging into everything everywhere..or maybe they just say one thing, and continued to use razer.   doesn’t seem to have hurt them signifigantly, as common as razer haters are.   there’s one in every discussion that features a razer product at least, right?.  i thought they were being dramatic about nothing.  I thought synapse was pretty cool.   I never needed it, but i saw no reason to complain about it.  Didn’t affect the hardware whatsoever that you had to login to synapse.  who cares?   how many people can honestly say that?   and i'd still feel the same in any other support scenario, but i don’t while being bullied.

what am i to think about this?   Am i just being dramatic about nothing like i thought they were about being forced to log into synapse?   Was i wrong?   I don’t really expect the company to do anything to resolve my problem because they’ve been aware of it since a few days after they dropped version 4, assuming someone reads their support emails.  Just wondering if i’m the only person who owns this product.  How could it be possible that the razer stream controller specifically doesn’t work with razer products, but everything else is fine?   it’s been at least a year.  quite a bit more really.
