Razer surround sound 7.1 no authentication found error

got a kraken X Lite headset today, downloaded synapse 4 and logged into it perfectly fine. However, when logging in to surround sound 7.1, it says: “no authentication found” even though its the same account and credentials as the account linked to synapse 4. What's the fix to this?
