Razer Synapse 3 not detecting my Viper Mini | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Hi

I got my viper mini on sale yesterday and really great piece of hardware it is. But I am facing an issue with Synapse 3. I registered my device for warranty anol. Then downloaded synapse and logged in. For some reason, once I logged in, the mini's RGB turned off.

So I go into synapse and into chroma studio and it says no compatible device found. So I connect via multiple ports, update firmware, reinstall Synapse, modify it and repair it. Nothing works. Went into the device manager and under mice I do not even see my mouse ;-;.

Could you please help me out with this?

Strange... but the mouse is working (sensor/clicks etc)?

For the problem Synapse not detecting mouse here's a solution:

  • Uninstall Synapse

  • Download & run this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj to remove any razer drivers/leftovers

  • Then restart your PC

  • After reboot install Synapse again (as administrator).

Aside from FiszPL's recommendation, you can try Razer's device detection tool here. Let's see how it goes.
I've tried all these steps but still not working. Any other ideas?

thx

Are you connecting your Razer device directly to your PC's USB port? You can try isolating the issue by plugging the device into another computer too.
