Hello.

I bought a Razer Huntsman V2 (Linear Optical Switch - Red) in 2022, why does the backlight still not turn off when idle?

The support team said that Razer Synapse conflicts with another program. But no matter how many times I clean install the OS, after the next Windows update, the backlight stops turning off. Imagine my surprise when Windows updated and the backlight started turning off.

Why don't you add the ability to force shutdown by pressing a key combination in the Razer Synapse program if this problem persists for 3 years?

If you’re on Windows 11 at least 23H2 update it has built-in feature called Dynamic Lighting (devices). It can control RGB on the OS level without having Chroma installed - in some cases it could cause some conflict vs Chroma.

In Synapse 4 https://www.razer.com/synapse-4 you can switch if you want to use Chroma or Windows Dynamic Lighting, but if you want to use Chroma only - the best way it to just disable the Dynamic Lighting function in Windows settings.

I don't have the dynamic lighting feature in Windows settings. OS Windows 10 Pro
I installed the new version of Synapse 4, but it did not solve this problem.

In the Razer Chroma program, in the Visualizer section, I played around with the settings and it worked. Who would have thought that in Razer Synapse, the backlight would not work.
