Razer Synapse and KVM switch

I am using Aten CS692 KVM switch to connect my laptop and a desktop PC to a single monitor, and a Razer Destiny V2 keyboard and Basilisk v2 mouse. It works fine except the Synapse part for LED control. The synapse software does not detect the devices when connected via the KVM switch. Is there a way to make this work?

You can try to install Synapse on both the laptop and the desktop, but at most, the app will detect one device. It doesn't play well with hubs, especially when neither PC nor laptop takes complete ownership of the keyboard and mouse.
