Razer Synapse causes PC freeze | Razer Insider

I'm having this issue on all 3 of my gaming PC's on which I have Razer Synapse installed. The app will periodically log me out of my Synapse account (without warning) and fail to load my peripheral settings. Usually find out I've been logged out once I log into a game and realize none of my buttons the work the way I set them up.

When this happens, you'd think it would be as easy as logging back in but it's not. I click on the taskbar icon and attempt to log in and that part works. Then, nothing happens Synapse doesn't start -- so then I try clicking on Synapse on the taskbar and try to open it, nada, zilch -- doesn't load. It just hangs then proceeds (if I'm tabbed out of a game trying to fix this) crash my game or whatever application I happen to have open at the moment.

It's quite irritating as the only way to fix the issue is to log in then restart my PC. I've opted to manually kill the app (which is almost impossible to do correctly and you can't restart the app once you do) by preventing it from even lauching at all prior at Windows start up. That way, it will open properly because it's loading for the first time when I choose to open it.

I'm sure the periodic need to log back in is likely intentional and maybe for security reasons but can you guys at the very least insure that the app doesn't break when trying to log back in?
Hi Jourgound,

Have you tried doing a clean installation of the Synapse app? If not yet, you can proceed by following the steps here. Should the issue persists, let me know through PM and provide the Synapse app version so I can start a case and raise your concern with the software team for further diagnosis and advanced resolution. Thanks!
