Razer Synapse Crashing constantly | Razer Insider

Hello,



To put it simply, It's crashing constantly. All of the RGB affects will turn on and off constantly, and during that period of time I will be unable to move my mouse. As you can imagine, this makes it impossible to do anything, let alone game. As soon as I exit Synapse I have no issues again.



I have never had this issue before. Sure, my mouse will occasionally stop working for perhaps.. a second, but very rarely. This however is on a whole different level. I have tried uninstalling, then reinstalling which has worked to no avail, my drivers are fully updated, and synapse is fully updated.



It's like.. Playing a high spec game, on a shitty computer with oof level amount of lag.. But only the mouse is affected. Stuttery as heck, and flashing RGB



At this point my conclusion is that it's an issue with the synapse, due to me being able to use everything perfectly fine without it running. Only obviously I cant have my custom settings, or RGB affects in use.



So, anyone else having this issue? Anyone have any advice, or know how to fix this.

So I figured it out, so might as well post my troubleshooting here just in case someone does have this issue in the future. I ended up uninstalling the Razer Mamba Driver, as I thought it might have corrupt files or something. Was a pain trying to reinstall it though as my computer didn't install it automatically after a computer reset. Simply uninstalling the Synapse, then reinstalling it again is what allowed it to pick up, and install the driver again.



After all of this it reminded me of how utterly shit Razer software can be. I also discovered that the customer service for this company is just as bad as the software. For such a high price tag I'd expect better.
