Hi, I have my Blackshark V2 (and in very good condition mind you) and since new, synapse has given me problems, which are a headache, but I must admit, razer support has been very efficient, quick and kind, so kudos to all of you! right now I mi mic is not even working, and I can’t access my microphone options of the soundcard in synapse, they are greyed out, these two things happened at the same time, and I honestly think it has something to do with synapse since I use this headset with playstation and it works perfectly fine. thanks in advance!

It may be caused by the latest update of 24th of April. There are a lot users noticing issues with synapse (me too, for example, with the barracuda pro).

Maybe you can write your problem at this thread too?

A bigger thread could be seen perhaps faster by razer support.

I was dealing with the same thing and it happened to me twice.

The first time I felt really stupid because I realized I had the mute button on my headset pressed down.

The second time which was literally like 7 minutes before writing this reply I solved it by going to windows and typing “Sound” and I clicked on the one that says “Change system sounds” in the control panel app, then I went to the “Recording” tab and clicked on my mic, then clicked “Properties” then clicked on the “Levels” tab and I saw the sound icon next to the volume slider was muted so I simply clicked it to unmute it and clicked “Apply” and that solved it.

Other solutions though could include uninstalling and reinstalling the razer synapse software or checking for updates or repairing your installation of synapse.

My guy, you just saved my wallet, infinite thanks.
