Razer synapse must be running to use this function

Hello! I'm binding a Mic Volume Up to a button and gettin the message "razer synapse must be running to use this function". But the Razer Synapse is running. It's on the same app. Is there something else needed to make it understand Synapse is already running or confirm that it is? If it's not, how can I make it run to fix this then? Thanks!

That is normal. The macro should work without an issue. However, for this particular key assignment, it will require Razer Synapse to run in the background since you are saving it to your device's onboard memory. Some commands or operations such as Unicode characters or launching programs are not possible for the mouse to work on its own when Synapse is not running. I’ll be locking this thread now. Edit: The issue can be resolved by reassigning the mouse button using the multimedia functions in the Razer Synapse 3.0 mouse customization tab.
