It stopped working again today and then a reboot fixed it. All I’ve learned is the synapse 4 software is buggy garbage. Now my lights aren’t working right. It’s amazing how they can get away with the poor quality and i just keep buying it.

The punishment of a loyal customer smh. They owe us an apology, new update and some free items from razer

I have tried to reinstall the complete Software . Uninstall  run  a regcleaner and the Razer Driver uninstaler . Then  install the latest Synapse 4 . After rhis the Freyja works a time , then stops . Then i dissable and enable the the Audio to Haptics option in the menu . It starts working again for a time , but stops after a short time . Very sad .

Not to jinx myself but I tried the driver cleanup tool as someone in the thread suggested (scroll and you’ll see it). After doing so it worked then stopped, THEN once again I uninstalled and then reinstalled synapse app. Only difference this go round, I kept “audio to haptics” on but turned off “sensa hd haptics”. So far for almost 24 hours it’s been working as intended. Hope it continues to. Let me know if this helps you (or anyone else in the thread).

On Windows Sound Setting, disable (off) the “audio enhancer” . After that start working but when i change my BlackShark V2 Headset to Leviathan V2 Sound Bar. Stop working again. I’m trying everything but no solution for now guys.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been struggling with my new Razer Freyja, where the internal Synapse test worked perfectly, but the cushion remained dead during gameplay and in SimHub.
If you are facing the same "connected but no response" issue, here is the exact order of steps that solved it for me:

Disconnect the Freyja from both the USB port and the power outlet.

In SimHub: Completely delete the “Razer Sensa HD” device from your devices list.

    Restart your PC.

Reconnect the power to the cushion first, and then plug in the USB cable.

In Razer Synapse: Make sure the haptic source is set to "Sensa HD Games."

In SimHub: Only now, re-add the Razer Sensa HD device.

After following this sequence, the communication bridge was restored and the haptics started working immediately. I hope this helps some of you to finally enjoy your setup!

Best regards 👍

Thanks for this suggestion. The thing for me is I don’t use Sim hub I only use the synapse app. Do you think this method would still work without the sim hub app

My Freija used to work intermittently, NOT AT ALL ANYMORE. I cleaned up registry, removed all drivers. Preview zones work in the Synapse app, that’s about it. At one point it worked for a day when i unchecked and checked “Audio-to-Haptics”. Not using any audio enhancements in Windows. The Freyja is a very expensive seat cushion now.

I have found a solution that works for me now  with the Freyja . I played Musik and it stops working as befor , than i switch to the Task-Manager , there i go to the Processes and than i found the Haptic-Service process. I closed this , than it restarts and show up again . And then the Freyja begins to work . When i restart my PC i must do this again , so i think there must be an problem with this Process when its start for the first time in Windows after reboot . So maybe this helps Razer to find a solution for an update with this problem . So now i dont have to reinstall Synapse every time . Its not perfect but much easyer to do . Mayby this helps others too , that have the same problem .

I found my reliable methos is this,

1.close the synapse APP

2.go to the task manager and find Haptic Sservice and close it

3.turn off the power of frejya and unplug the dongle

4.restart the synapse APP and replug the dongle and turn on the power of Frejya

4.It should be working again

I suggest everyone try this method, it works for me, I hope this can help you guys, too!!!

All solution didn’t work at my side (clean windows installation, uninstall and install synapse Romeve dongle ,closing haptic service at task menager or closing windows sound enchantment etc but I know that device is working but haptic not function after upgrade to synapse 4

i contacted razer support and reply that I received

(We are aware of the current issue and are actively working on resolving it. As we are continuously improving the software, rest assured that any available fixes will be included in upcoming Synapse updates, and that you will be notified as soon as these updates are deployed. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to enhance your experience)
