Razer Taipan mouse not working anymore

I’m curious if anyone else experienced their mouse stop working. I bought the 80 dollar mouse years ago but don’t have many hours on it. Warranty is no good anymore, much like the crap Razer phone 2 I bought last year. I noticed the mouse cannot be bought anymore and looks like they replaced or renamed the new version. I love the look and feel of Razer products but I’m getting the feeling their stuff just doesn’t last and the company doesn’t replace defective products. Tell me your thoughts? Should I make the change to hyperX?
